About this Webinar

On March 18, 2020, the President signed into law the Families First Coronavirus Response Act. The Families First Coronavirus Response Act created mandatory federal paid sick leave for employees unable to work due to the virus. This presentation will discuss basic information employers need to consider during this pandemic.

Jefferson P. Whisenant is an attorney at Young Moore & Henderson, P.A., working with the Employment Law and Workers’ Compensation teams. He represents employers and insurers throughout all stages of litigation including workers’ compensation defense matters. He also advises employers on topics ranging from FMLA to handbook reviews. He graduated cum laude from Clemson University and received his juris doctorate from Wake Forest University School of Law. He lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with his wife and two hound dogs, Doug and Poppy.
