2022 NCMGMA Annual Conference Wrap Up: Awards, Photos and More

2022 Annual Conference a Success!

The North Carolina Medical Group Management Association (NCMGMA) came together last week in Wilmington, May 18-20, 2022, for our Annual Conference at the Wilmington Convention Center and Embassy Suites Riverside. Over 245 attendees, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors enjoyed continuing education from some of healthcare’s finest thought leaders, participated in essential networking events with peers and old friends, honored outstanding industry achievement with our annual awards, and experienced the sold-out exhibit hall full of Alliance sponsor products and services driving healthcare management innovation and excellence to the next level.

Thank you to everyone who pulled away from their busy practices to join us. Thank you to all our speakers and exhibitors for sharing your knowledge and expertise and thank you to our sponsors for your continued support of our organization: we couldn’t do it without you. And, lastly, thank you to our volunteers for leading the organization and keeping us moving in the right direction: your hard work and dedication does not go unnoticed.

Says Dr. Kenneth Rich, MD, president of Raleigh Neurosurgical Clinic, “A leader is defined as someone who can see the capacity for improvement and can rally people to move toward that goal. Jacob Rodman is not only a great businessman and CEO of Raleigh Neurosurgical Clinic, but he is a great leader. He is the most valuable player at our practice as he genuinely cares about those he works with and seeks out opportunities to grow our practice.”

The Administrator of the Year award, sponsored by Curi, honors a medical practice administrator who has demonstrated exceptional leadership and management proficiency, and who has helped enhance the effectiveness of health care delivery in North Carolina. The Administrator of the Year Award also provides the recipient with a stipend for continuing education at a state or national Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) meeting or professional development through ACMPE.
