NCMGMA-NCMS Webinar Series

August 19, 2015 ~ 12:00 pm to 1:00pm
Alicia Stokes, MHA and Janet McCauley, MD, MHA, CPC, FACOG
Blue Cross Blue Shield North Carolina

North Carolina Medical Society Foundation, in cooperation with the North Carolina Medical Group Management Association, invites you to join us to discuss Telemedicine as part of care transformation and how it will be compensated by BCBSNC.  Time will be reserved for questions and answers within the last fifteen minutes of the presentation.

Alicia Stokes, MHA, has worked for BCBSNC for the past two years. Prior to joining BCBSNC, she worked on the provider side at a large academic medical center here in NC for almost a decade. During her tenure there, her focus was on working with providers on operational efficiencies, quality, outcomes, and the patient experience. Her goal in joining BCBSNC is to leverage her prior experiences and her knowledge of the healthcare ecosystem to enable a more value/outcomes based relationship between the Enterprise, our members, and our provider partners.

Janet McCauley, MD, MHA, CPC, FACOG, is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist with over fifteen years of clinical experience in private practice. She is currently a Senior Medical Director in Medical and Reimbursement Policy at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, where she serves as clinical lead for development and implementation of medical and payment policy, and supervises the Corporate and Medicare Advantage Appeals Departments.
